I workout so I can wine & eat tacos.

"Just one more, girl! Then you get a taco. I get a taco!"

I like wine & tacos. I consume A LOT of them. It's a small scale miracle I don't weigh 450 pounds. Since I like these things & have to look at myself everyday I workout out at least 4, I shoot for 5 days a week.   It's nice to look in the mirror & not be grossed out. It's also nice to know that I can eat & drink things I want in moderation without feeling guilty.

The unhealthy doesn't stop at wine & tacos though, here's a bullet pointed list of my biggest vices:
 - Wine
 - Margaritas
 - Tacos
 - Pizza
 - Brownies
 - BBQ chips
the list goes on & on. I like libations & food. As I said, it's a miracle I don't weigh 450 pounds. This is due to a semi-fast(ish), at least it's not terribly slow, metabolism & lifting weights mixed with a bit of cardio 4-5 days a week. I don't eat/drink those things everyday, as much as I would really REALLY like that. I do like/eat healthy foods, after all I don't want to keel over by the age of 35. I don't drink near as much as I did when I was in college, and at my heaviest.

In addition to needing to workout, it genuinely makes me happy & feel less like I want to punch people in the throat. This is a good thing for myself & anyone who has to deal with me. 3 out of 5 times if I'm in a pissy mood you can pretty well bet I haven't had/won't have time to make it to the gym. Plus at least 3 of those days I get to have some much needed girl time with my best friend. 

My point here is: I enjoy going to the gym. But I don't workout to be the skinniest of them all, I workout so I can eat/drink what I want. It would be nice to be the skinniest of them all, but I know it's never gonna happen. I also know that I won't be able to eat/drink like I do now, forever. I know I'll have to cut back. But for now; I am 23 years old, I'm going to do whatever I damn-well please. If I want to have a bottle glass of wine or if I want to have Tequilas twice in one day a week, I will. If that's wrong, I don't wanna be right! ;)
